Windvd9 and soundblaster x-fi

muffled sound when playing dvd/BR through windvd

ive tried all the settings and dvds play fine on WMP, it is mostly just the voices in the movies that only comes out in the base so it sounds real muffled and i have to turn the sound all the way up to hear

Yeah, WinDVD is funky with audio. Never been able to get it to work right, except once, and then after reboot, that was it.:shrug:

umm,.. maybe check to make sure the speaker cables were'nt pulled loose from when i was moving everything
