what kills a processor more, volts or watts.??
scenario 1..lets say i run a q6600 at 1.55(considered to be a bit high) volts on air but never gets any of the cores working hard. lets say im running something on this pc thats always draws about 65 amps or 100 watts from the cpu.
scenario 2. i have a q66 running at 1.2 volts (considered super safe) but i have this cpu drawing 120 amps or about 144 watts all the time.
which chip would last longer??? over voltage chip not working hard or the normal volt chip worker alot harder.
just wondering.
