Planning to get this case but seeing it only has 145mm clearance on the side panel to the tray means the true120 ex wont fit. I've read somewhere that you can rotate the fan so that the flat portion of it is facing upwards and give enough space to accommodate the true120ex even on a vertical position, can anyone else confirm this ?

the heatsink itself can be pointed in any of four directions if it helps

not too sure on the rotating but if your CPU socket is near the top edge of the motherboard the TRUE can fit, just about, might need slight bending of the corner fins.

Mounting it horizontally should make it fit, but my question is about mounting it vertically.

it should fit anyway that u put it in, and why bother with that case unless u want modless liquid the 690 is about the same for under half of the price

the mesh bows out past the side panel to fit the tower sinks, and i know that the tuniq fits so the true should too

Did CM ever fix the side panel fan issue?
