If you are Going to Overclock get the 79-T...It will handle the power and PWM cooling which the 78-T can NOT do. the 79-T bioses will also be better optimized as well..
I already Tested and Cooked a 78-T, it just couldnt handle My overclocking @ 3.5ghz..
Thats why i own the 79-T,, Its like a Tank and then Some..I run at just about Max Volts 24/7..
Ive been testing this 79-T three months at High Volts and am very pleased with it running a 140watt phenm pushed to the max.
It cost me $60bucks in fuel and time to exchange the 78-T after i cooked it,, Its well worth the extra money to get the Best when it comes to overclocking if thats what you plan on Doing.
If your Gonna keep the CPU Stock hen get a 78-T and Be happy.
If your gonna OC like Crazy that 45nm,,Dont Skimp ,, Get 79-T:yepp:

I second that... I had a 78-T also, not good for OC'ing!
If you plan to OC, spend the extra $$$ and get the 79-T, you'll be glad you did. ;)
To be honest, I don't really even like Asus boards, but IMHO the 79-T is one of the best Phenom boards available (and I've had a few).. :yepp:

I'm with them also. I have both, and the 78-T is great for an everyday board, but the 79-T... man, might be the best AMD board ever built
