Depends on what you're going to do as the Stacker 830 isn't the easiest case to watercool but is do-able.

Cosmos 1000 gets my vote

I would probably pick the cosmos too, especially if you have the money for that new limited edition version that pics have been floating around of. If you are looking at the stacker I would avoid the NV theme, that much bright green is a little much for me. Just a personal preference of course

Now guys, this gentleman is building a dual socket beast and I mean top end.
He needs a case to match. A EATX case with excellent cooling.
I'd say at least 2-120's front minimum, a 120 rear and a 120 blowhole isn't a bad idea..
So what fit's those specs in todays cases and looks decent and not "gamey"
I mean quiet class..
Keep in mind that where he lives 100F isn't considered a hot day..:)

I would choose the HAF but between those two the Cosmos hands down :)

The best choice is the Cosmos S. Plenty of places to mount 120 mm fans and has adequate hard drive cooling.

the cosmos has much better acoustic properties. I have it now and love it

maybe i'm just partial but the cosmos hands down. nvidia is a bit flashy

I'd go with the Cosmos 1000. You can mod a 120x2 rad into the top easily. Heck--go a bit old-school and do a custom TEC as well. :p: Anyways--another chassis to consider is an XClio Windtunnel for about $90-120. It's cheaper and more of a conservative black without frills. The "standard" edition is better--just a pair of 250mm side fans and a clean mod-able top. With that chassis, you can definitely mod a 120x2 rad at least into the top, and you still have the rear 120mm to put something into (chipset coolers? Maybe single graphics card?). Heck--you could probably put a 140x2 rad in easily.

cosmos 1000 , if OC go Cosmos S or Lian Li PC-P80

the cosmos S isn't as quiet as the vanilla cosmos though, due to the mesh side panel

If you are after a beast of a case for air cooling a dual socket E-ATX motherboard imo you can't beat the Lian Li V2100 +II

well seems that most of you guys are gamers not very into 3d industry...

i'm talking about dual xeon cpu's and 32G FB DImms with nivida quadro fx5800

which liquid cooling not for 2 cpu's according to my info

The Cosmos S has EATX support and it will easily house your configuration. And if you want watercooling the Cosmos S will house a 3x120 mm radiator and 2 1x120 mm radiators (one on the back panel and one on the floor) A2x120 mm radiator can be mounted in the front bays using 2 mounting brackets.

If you are looking for a high end case for a server system you might want to consider a chenbro case. They are very high quality and come packed with fans and plenty of space. Other benefits include hot swappable drive cages and I believe they come with a built in SAS backplane though not sure about that. I have built a number of dual socket opteron systems in those cases on eatx tyan mobos. I never used a Quadro 5800, that must be new but I've put a Quadro 4500x2 and a 5600 in and there has been plenty of space. I will admit I always used stock cooling though, so if you are looking to go WC or a big air heatsink on the CPUs not sure how it would work out.

If water cooling is in your plans I can tell you that I set up a WC system on my dual socket clovertown over a year ago and it's doing fine.
I used a Swiftech H20-220 kit and replaced the MCR220 rad with the MCR320 and added one more ApogeeGT water block
Other than that everything you need is in the kit.
OOPs, you need to buy a liter of distilled water..:D

I will pick the cosmos 1000 because the price is right and easy watercool setup.

After having hands-on experience with both cases I would go with the Cosmos instead.
