i just installed o&o defragger trial did a defrag on stelth mode, and the next day got this when booting up:
"can´t find windows/system32/config/system

error 0xc00000e9

try loading the vista install disk and repair.

so, i did reboot with the dvd, it starts loading with a withe status bar, then changes to the green bar and that´s that, i left the thing run for 50 minutes at a time and nothing came out.

my rig:
windows vista buisness sp1
asus p5k deluxe wifi no oc
intel q6600 2.4 stepping g0
2 gig ram
2x250 gig sata wd hdd´s no raid
1xdvd sata
ati 1650pro 512 vram
22 wide lcd monitor hdmi pluged to the ati
and only plugged the kb, mouse and monitor

the comp does post, find the drives, and then gives me error messege.

any advise?

Same error for me the day after I tried that defrager.

sorry to hear that EniGmA1987, now i tried everything today, and something came up just fine, i took out the hdd and put it into another comp, it read as a slave, so i backed up my files to the second comp and at the same time copied the "windows/system32/config/system" to my faulty disk, took it back to my main comp and fired it up with the install disk in and got to run, so i repaired the win install and rigth now am up and running, jeez that came up alrigth.
