9800 pro bios..

i just picked up a 9800 at circuit city, it was a killer price and i couldn't resist. :D it seems to be overclocking decent, 400/680 rite now.

the thing is a wanted to flash it to the pro bios so i can get alittle more out of the memory, but i have infineon 3.0ns chips.. and there is no bios for infineon chips, aleast that i can find. so if anyone knows where i could get those bios, that would be really awsome. :toast:

look at the bottom of the page for

9800 NP Infineon chips

it sets the default mem speed to 325 mhz

but running it at 340 is pretty good considering the infineon chip is rated for 333 mhz

i dont see the bios you speak of, all the np infineon's i see are the same bios i have already.

im really just looking for a pro bios, it looks like the 9800 pro with infineon chips is either rare, or just doesnt exist.

haha, i have a "9800 NON PRO" with infineon chips. this is a non pro card.

looking for a 9800 pro bios that is compatible with infineon chips. so far, all ive seen are 9800 pro bios for samsung chips.

if you look at the first bios under 9800 you will see:


ATI Radeon 9800 Non-Pro 128MB 2003/03/18 14:59 325 / 290 Infineon

that is the bios you want
