full reference 680i post code 26

im trying to help some1 with a full reference 680i post code 26, i looked it up and its saying clock gen but im thinking ram. any ideas

In my experience 26 is most likely the board. If you think it is memory than go down to one stick. Cycle it through each slot and then try another stick and do the same thing. It should boot with one stick and not the other or in two slots and not the other two if it is memory. Your final code should be FF if everything is working fine. ahh atleast someone else has problems with the 680i lol. Yeah I would do the RAM thing if that doesnt work most likely the board. Then when you RMA try to get them to send you a 780 LOL just remmeber just give the puppy dog face through the phone works EVERYTIME

yah i had though ram but nope, dead board. this was a multi rma then boxed then give away that some1 had donated to a team mate so it was pretty much know that it would die
