Need a utility that will allow me to monitor the VDIMM on my Albatron Springdale board, used to use the Winbond Hardware Doctor utility on my IC7, but it won't display the VDIMM on this board (I'm assuming a newer version may be needed for 865PEs)- but I can't find a link to download a newer version of Hardware Doctor either.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried Motherboard Monitor 5 (http://pchardwaremods.com/download.php?id=1) ? This proggie works with the majority of motherboards but is a bit tedious to set up the first time. Once you learn the ropes you'll never go back:)

Messing around with MBM5 right now, can get it to read 3.3,5,12v lines and Vcore, but no luck on the VDIMM..

Open up the MBM settings panel and select voltages.
By changing the Voltage configuration to different values, you might enable monitoring of the Vdimm.
This SS is from my KD7-E, it monitors the Vdimm even though it has no "official" support for my board.

Just make sure you back up the "Data" folder in the MBM 5 directory, then when you re-install, just copy it back, instant setup. :D

[SLC]Tachyon is Vdimm being monitored in your BIOS ?? If it's not then it's unlikely that you will be able to monitor it from windows.

Nope, neither VDIMM nor VAGP are monitored in the BIOS. :(
Tried fiddling with all the options one more time as per sjohnson's suggestion, but no avail.
I assembled the VDIMM mod for the board (2 SMD grabbers + 10k pot), but can't exactly hook it up since I have no way to monitor the VDIMM (although I doubt that a 10k pot, even maxed out, would bring it to a dangerous level). It's ready to clip on, but I don't think it'd be wise set it up blindly (for my last project I borrowed a multimeter- guess I have to get myself one and then manually measure the VDIMM). :shakes:
