View Full Version : I need 3870x2 soldering help!!

Hey guys, I just got my two 3870x2's in the mail today and one came with a few busted off resistors and one barely hangin on. See below.

Two missing (I think they are Vmem 1.96 right?)

And here is the one that is hanging on by one side

I have no idea where to get two new resistors for the missing two, or even what kind they are.
As for the other, Im sure I can solder it back on.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

wow how did those came off ?

they are not resistor the are capacitors

the cards should work without them but you souled fined some dead vga's to take some and solder them on those babes :p

These are ceramic SMD capacitors (1206). I'd guess that they are about 1-2.2 µF, due to the size. Don't know about the dielectric though. Could be X7R, could be Y5V. ;)
