I have this combo mounted on abit ip35 pro.
Is it normal to be able to wiggle the heatsink with some minor effort after it's installed? is this a sign that I don't have enough contact pressure?
I'ts been a long time since i have aircooled *this is for my g/fs pc*, but I'm used to not being able to move the waterblock at all.

There is about .5-1.25mm of clearance between the heatsink and the divider of the case. It is essentially resting on the fan clip.

Currently i have a q6600 @ 1.32v 3.2ghz 34 idle, 56 load. According to realtemp.

Otherwise I'm impressed, with how will it works. I didn't think it would idle at such a low temperature. I idle at 32 on my e8400 at 3.6ghz

wow not one reply. Well I'm guessing there is supposed to be some play, but I was surprised that this huge cooler was not locked in. I guess I have been spoiled by years of liquid cooling.

if the TRUE is unmodded then yes, its 'normal' for it to wiggle a bit

simple fix for it is doing the washer mod:

You didn't get an answer yet, because using the search function or doing a bit of reading on the TRUE, would have told you in minutes that what you experienced is absolutely normal. The mounting pressure on any TRUE is suboptimal. ;)

Thanks a bunch, I guess my search skills are suboptimal. There is far to much info.
