Looks like alot of folks are pulling the ejection handle on nVIDIA!!!

Lets see:

1 3D labs worstation card
1 ATI 9200
14 nVIDIA FX cards

LOL!

I'm willing to bet some of us here are responsible for some of the 5900s up for refurb sale... ;)

9800XT anyone?!?!?

Just be warn alot of people pull the bait and switch without Newegg knowing. I order a 9700p twice from refurb and got 9500p both times:(. Same thing happened at Bestbuy also to me:mad:

Folks that do that are truely lacking in character. I tend to jump on them whenever I see them mention ANYTHING like doing that here at Xtreme. It's simply wrong.

I've yet to see a rational argument for it.

I mean, any kind of real refurbishment process would include actually examining and testing the card. Which would tell Newegg right away what they really had.

Newegg refurbs should be called "customer returns."

Be honest with you my Asus V9950 crashes every eight hours. I have no idea why, I've looked into every possibility, the only thing I can think of, is it sharing the HDD's molex?

I like the card, but I have no luck with graphics cards anyway, it's my curse.

Man I'll say one thing that Gainward FX5900 Ultra 256MB for $320 sounds great. But I have this feelings as you guys say, their not Refrubished, it's probably some card which someone has pushed to see more artifacts more then an Archeologist.

My sentiments exactly, if it doesn't overclock insanely, then sell it and buy another, if you kill it, replace it.

I clearly have a bad track record with NF7-S motherboards, but if I killed it, then I'll pay for another one.

It's just a matter of morals.

Jumping ship, that's more like switching from a Row-Boat to a Donzi.
