I'm running an msi k7n2 delta ilsr (shoulda bought something else, but been okay...)

Question, I have a heatsink and fan combo stock on the northbridge, figured I could do better and ordered a zalman heatsink figuring I'd strap a fan to it. It doesn't fit the nforce2 northbridge chip? It underlaps it.!?!? Use it? Or be weary and stay with the sock one that more than covers the nb?

Just not sure...

Hmm, not really sure about that.

I'd figure most of the heat would come from the centre, and the Zalman HS should deal with this properly, but well, wouldn't bet anything on it :)

Check Newegg for the Swiftech MCX-159 nb cooler. The thing is a monster. Should get the job done.

Use a retail P3/Celeron HSF.

Use a copper pipe, put it on the NB, seal it, fill it 1/4 with water and the rest with ice cubes. :D
