I'm building a new system and here's what i got so far .....
XP2500+ barton AQZFA0334WPMW
2x256mb HyperX PC3500
home made whitewaterblock and chipset block w/ BIX2
sapphire 9800pro
my problem now is choosing a motherboard
and i know 9/10 of you experts would say Abit NF7-S rev2.0 and i've read too many successful OCs on it too.
but ..... there's no local distributor of Abit boards here in my country we do have Epox boards and Asus boards .
the Asus A7N8X deluxe is way too expensive a board IMHO costs almost 2x that of the Epox 8RDA+
how does the 8RDA+ fare ?? and i've read something about overvoltage protection that the board won't allow anything upwards of 1.85vcore ? (would be a waste if i couldn't push beyond that as i've ran like 2.0v before on a simpler watercooling setup)
i'm still holding out to see what best mobo to get. thanks for any advice
