That's a real mess...... is there anybody familiar with all those RAM timings that can explain me what and where to change..... moving from By SPD to Manual ( and thus changing here and there ) results in a NO POST and then a CLR CMOS....

Any help here?

Try first changing to manual and then setting all the timings to their SPD values, save and reboot. Back into cmos and change 1 thing at a time and save and reboot and see which one hangs you up. These NF3 boards are very fussy in this regard. I would also suggest you set the vmem to the highest it will go if you are going to mess with the timings.

The main problem is, that if it's set to Auto I can't actually see the SPD values .... and when I swich to manual I have to guess everything... and then I got all stuck.....

Oh, the MB is Biostar K8VHA Pro with K8T800....

I'm lost with some of the memory settings too ! I left everything to auto except the basic cas, ras, tras, and cas-ras. There are all sorts of memory problems coming up with the A64. You should PM MickeyMouse (Jason) and ask him about the settings. I'm sure he has played with them all.
