For 3dmarks01, which would you guys think will give a higher score,
-3708mhz at 309fsb 2-2-2-5 (5:4) 2.4c
-3850mhz at 296fsb 2-2-2-5 (5:4) 2.6c
I have the 2.4c right now that can bench at 3850mhz but unfortunately my rams can only do up to 309fsb at 5:4..... is it worth going to a 2.6c and if I did what are my chances of getting one that can clock that high..... cooling is with my waterchiller at -15c water..... thanks

I'd say option #2 would be the fastest....but they may be close...good question.

Definetly with roughly the same memory speed the higher OC will give you better 3dmark01 scores.

Thanks guys..... Im just thinking that 3dmark01 loves fsb and that it might make up for the lack of mhz.... also one guy in another forum runs his 2.8 at 284fsb (3975mhz) 2-2-2-5 (5:4) and I eat him in lobby and carchase which makes me believe that maybe the higher fsb will win...... I guess Ill just have to get me a 2.6c to find out for myself...... sucks though that I just killed my 9700pro and got a 9800p so now Im kinda broke:( .......
So for my other question, what are my chances of getting a 2.6c that will overclock in the 3.8-3.9gs waterchilled? did I just luck out on my 2.4c?

Definetely look at one of those SL6Z3s everyones talking about....I am getting a 2.4 SL6Z3 since I am doing air but since you are chilled and can get higher 2.6 would probably be better since your RAM can't keep up....doing 3.6 @ default voltage would be nice....

With AMD Id probably say the FSB, with Intel though the MHz will help.

Yepp, go for 2.6, and hopfully it OC.
My result with 2:4= 312x12 3DMark 19751 Rat:3:2 Tim:2-5-2-2
2.6= 308x13 -"- 20086 - " - - " -
(with Ti4xxx)
