View Full Version : XFX hasn't responded to email, Rebates not valid (resolved by XFX support)

Hey Guys,

Wanted to see if anyone here has a way to reach XFX support. I've used their system on the website, and sent an email directly to support@xfxforce.com. No one will reply to me.

Here's the issue. I recently bought a 9600GT, which came with a rebate of $30. However, the company that processes the rebates (CPG, read about it here: LINK (http://blog.slickdeals.net/index.php/2008/11/14/major-rebate-processor-files-for-bankruptcy-a-number-of-recent-deals-with-rebates-may-be-affected)is in bankruptcy, and not fulfilling any more rebates.

Most other major companies that use this rebate center have issued email updates to their customers, and offered alternatives to submit and receive their rebates. So far XFX has done nothing. So anyone with outstanding rebates is in a state of limbo.

So, rebates aren't valid, XFX won't respond in any way to inquiries (others have tried as well), and we, the supporters of what I usually consider a stand up company, are being completely ignored.

OK, so rant mode off. Anyone here have any ideas on how to at least get XFX to respond to it's customers? Is there an alternative email address I should try? Every time I go to the 'live help' on their website, it tells me the link is broken.

Anyway, thanks for any help you may be able to provide. I've spent some time lurking on the forums here, and they've been extremely helpful.

THIS IS ONLY FOR CPG(rebatestatus.com) REBATES

If you have a rebate check that was already issued from CPG do not cash it. Call 877 325-2555. They are the new rebate house to handle this issue.

If you sent in a rebate to CPG and did not receive a check yet call 800-635-0663.

Have your copy of the rebate form ready.

THANK YOU for responding, and giving me the phone numbers. I truly appreciate it.

I have not yet submitted my rebate, and have a few days left before it needs to be postmarked. Should I submit it to CPG, then call the phone number you listed for checkmyrebates...or should I wait and send it somewhere else?

We replaced all of our rebates with the new house. If your rebate is still active and hasn't been sent in yet than your retailer should have a new form to print out already on their site for the new rebate house. What is the product code for your card and where did you get it from?

Thanks again. I bought it at amazon.com, product is PVT94PYDE4 (9600GT Extreme). I just went back to the amazon page, and it's still showing the same rebate as before (which goes to CPG). I let the sales rep for Amazon know that they need to get that updated. If you check back I am sure that they will get it updated. I leave in 45 mins and won't be back till Monday. I am setting myself a reminder in Outlook to talk to him again on Monday morning.

Just wanted to let you know that I tried this morning to see if they have the new rebate up, and so far, they haven't changed it. Anything you can do would be appreciated.

Okay, that should be changed soon but just to speed up your process I got you the form that will be there.
