Hey guys, ran into a really wierd problem, back to back.

I installed 2x2GB of Dominator PC8500 in my UD3P, the system didn't boot. Anyhow after reseting the gphx card, and memory i was able to get into the bios but the pc would freeze after a 0.5-3 min of being in bios.

I cleared the cmos, reset some of the hardware again. this time i was able to start windows install and then I got a BSOD.

So I took out one stick and the system worked fine. Then I switched the stick and the pc booted fine again. Tried Dual and no boot. So it turns our that the dominator wont work in slots 3 and 4. Even when I plug the dominator stick that works in slot 1 & 2 into 3 & 4 it doesn't work.

I have a ocz reaper pc8000, which worked fine in dual or in single channel on all the slots. why does dominator not work on slots 3 and 4, any thoughts on this.

By the way this happened twice, i bought another set of dominator and same problem but again the ocz works fine. What the devil is going on? If by tonight i cannot resolve this i will pick up some other ram tomorrow and RMA this.

I guess no one else had this problem or even seen this before. I will RMA it today and pick something else up.

need to put 1 stick in ... go in bios .. set the diver to 333 and 2.00 trap ... and after that you can put 2 or even 4 in .. will work fine ,,, then slowly tweak it
