I think something is up with Newegg and shipping to APO. I have a co-worker who ordered from Newegg and waited and waited for it to show up. He called after 6 weeks had gone by. They told him it could take 6 -8 weeks. So he waited two more weeks. Newegg then informed him to fill out a claim form with the post office. Once the form was filled out and process and the money sent to Newegg, his "re-order" showed up in a week.
He is now getting ready to go thru this a second time. I am also getting ready to go thru this for the forst time. There are others here as well that have had to go thru the same exact thing because Newegg is not shipping their orders. We believe Newegg is taking advantage of the APO system and trying to double dip on orders.
I called about my order and Newegg told me that because of security concerns they could not track my package, even though they issue me a tracking number (which I belive to be bogus). No other company I order from has any security issues sending to APO adddress. I then asked how if they could tell me how my package was shipped (regular mail or priority mail). They could not tell me. My rep told me that he would check into it and send me an email. Almost a week later and no email. Priority mail to APO AP normally takes no longer than a week and very rarely more than two weeks.
For the Newegg reps that visit this thread, or thos that might know a Newegg rep. We are preparing to file a report for to the BBB about you actions. If a Newegg Rep would like to contact me about this, please PM me.

PS. How's the MovieMan doing? I have been gone for awhile. That's what happens when you become a daddy. She is now 16 months, growing like a weed.
