Problem with Razer Barracuda HP-1

Very weird electric sound in the background i cant notice it when i listen to music but when i play any game the sound get louder and annoying.
my other Logitech Digital Precision headphones dont make any noise, i did try 2 of the razers but it is the same problem.
Is it something from the razers it self ? or something in my pc when using 5.1 ?
I'm using Creative X-FI XtremeGamer.
any help would be great

I had terrible trouble with my Barracuda's, in the end i RMA'd them 4 times before giving up as they always broke or got interferance.
If you jiggle the headphone cable does it get worse? or if you twist the cup the side the cable goes into?
Have a look under the plastic cover on the headband above the cup the side the cable goes into, all of mine had bare wires showing and touching each other, it's usually where the problem is...

It is weird that both barracuda's i have got the same problem but again like you said it is always breaking fast, maybe i should just give up on them :(

Sell it off and get a Prelude for gaming. It seems many have troubles with those card.

If both cards are installed sure it *might be the problem.

What cards do you mean? i only have X-FI XtremeGamer.
