Hey, Ignore my other thread, i solved the problem,
I have an EO SLAPP e8200, and so I was wondering how far people think i can get it with the AF7, considering its in an Antec 900, with all the fans set to high, (probably)
This is not xtreme overclocking, (hence the AF7), although, this isn't meant to be 24h stable, i just want to see how fast it can go.
Also, I ran superpi 1.5 xs mod at stock, and got around 40 seconds, is this about right?
This was on a new install of vista, nothing else installed as it was a new system, not connected to the internet, i copied superpi from a USB stick

Thanks

40 Seconds at 1m? That couldn't be right... I get about 13 with my e7200 at 4.

Yeah, I re ran it, and at 3.2GHz, (just upped the FSB to 400, didnt change anything else), it got just under 15 seconds...., and at stock again, it got around 16, so obviously something was wrong the first time....

Also, I must have misread the SLAPP, coz CPU-Z says its a CO, oh well

When you're running Spi from pendrive or other flash memory, your time in Spi is two or three times worse, that running from HDD :D

Hi,
yeah, oh well, but I am having sever problems with vista, it will only extract a folder, (COD4 demo) at 1 byte a second, whats going on?
And everything seems to stop responmding, i have service pack one installed, oh, its buisiness by the way, not premium, although, i would not have thought that would have made it worse....
And, crysis has problems, the menus and stuff are graphically mucked up, with green squares all over the place, (on the main menu)
In fact, the computer doesnt seem to be acting as though everything is as it should be, but I cant think what could be wrong, im updating the ATi catalyst as i type this...
