It called KICK ASS :D
He gets hardware before others because he overclocks like a Ninja ;)
Great job, but what's even more interesting: stability under phase. I'd kill for a 4.4GHz i7 920 being fully 3d stable...

$344 CAD = $280 USD. VERY affordable.
Typical Biostar orange/white--it looks good IMO. Backpanel layout is nice too--I like the dual-LAN like that, and the PS/2 for keyboard. Means my Model M would work. Great setup. Where'd you get the Noctura cooler? I'm looking for a top-performance top-down cooler. Right now it's between your Noctura and the Scythe Zipang.

my chip didnt have issues benching all benchmarks at 221*21 on UD5 on SS with -45C to -50C
i guess it's probably a cold bug somewhere lower as your cascade would do what... -100C or so right
shame we cant run higher BCLK
i'd love to give all those 965 boys a hard time with a 920 chip

But my i7 920 on Asus P6T Dlx and Gigabyte X58 UD5 allow me to select the memory divider for 2:10, 2:12 and so on. I am so dissapointed that the same pair of my memory that can go more than 1600mhz on other mobos cannot go more than 1600mhz on this Biostar due to the memory divider=(

This BIOS can for support uncore to 4266MHz
and DRAM to 2133MHz for ''ALL 920/940 CPUs ''
1. uncore Freq must always > = 2 X DRAM Freq ( * BIOS will check your setting is >= 2X DARM Freq, otherwise need forced to 1066)
2. You need to set '' uncore Freq '' first then go for '' DRAM ratio''. (Higher DRAM Freq means higher uncore Freq)
3. For Core i7 965XE , the uncore ratio is adjustable without any problem. This BIOS will access for some '' unlock''
920/940 CPUs. But if the CPU was locked , it won't work.

Its funny, I got a cold boot bug at -40c~ with my i920/P6T DLX.
After you boot, there is no problem to work/bench at -60c or so.
I discovered it with my Dry Ice run about two weeks ago.
Do you guys think its a Mobo or CPU issue ?

knowing little how difficult that board can be Pt1t's results are quite extreme imo :D. when i first started playing with core i7 chips i had trouble getting over that 222 base clock too.. maybe when newer bioses are put out to this particular board the biostar board can too get over 230bclk..

Off course ... we spent month to pass 222Mhz BLCK on tpower
231 is also easy on My DFI or P6t6 ....
Here i just said that the tpower can push the 920 to 4756Mhz (Benchable) with only 1,40V Vcore and 1,40V VTT and did 228,5 with 12X multiplier.

What do I need to do to get over the 222 BClock. Once I exceed 4.0Ghz in Uncore the system will not boot. If I alter the BClk to 223 or higher with a Utility in Windows the system will freeze.
I am using a W3520.

So what Bios setting voltages will take me to BClk above 222.
I want to get to 230 and higher.
My Copper CPU pot from Bartx is on its way from Poland.
Also will the T-Power x58 allow more memory mulipliers other than 8:1 and 6:1for a W3520 and a W3540?
