WOW! Realy nice time, for this clock that is simply incredible!
But I think jowi69 does a better 7m20s time on 2.AOCM
but he didn't uploads it to hwbot...
€: on no sorry, it is you WR mate ;)

nice, thats cool to compare i7 and e8600
after 4th literation, i7's big caches and imc not help much
need a good module for 32m:)

great clocking hicookie  would you happen to have pics of your benching session ?

Yep, but in i7 big bust in Spi (4M and more) give you memory controler and memory bandwidth.

well in PP i7 kills E86.
Now it's just a hunt for 5.5 benchable chips.

i turnoff HT, i try turnoff 3cores, leave 1/2/3 core, but seems
not help to improve clock(due to native core?)

 how about BCLK ? i think this is the wall
no matter i use stock FAN or LN2 try to cool, 222MHz seems the end
my experience.

excellent scores, the IMC advantage can really be seen in 32M. Could it be possible your bclk wall is due to motherboard?

Dont you know you will get 300BCL with ln2 on clockgenerator??
That looks like a very decent cpu and a nice pi run too :D

;) good luck with the tips
tried copywaza and spitweaker, seems not affect to nehalems
i think maybe 3x2GB Sticks memory could improve performance in 32M
:slap: yes it is! :D
Good results.
hope thip chip could make some 3Ds 4.9-5Ghz:)

really
i thought with that sort of L2 cache wazza would world beautifully
maybe L3 cache adds throws a spanner in the works heh

maybe something Eesy Tune 6 can have instead :D:D:D
such a great piece of software...only missing RAM timings now :D:D
are you running CAS8 or CAS9
not sure if i should trust this CPUz...in case it isnt supporting the CPUs/boards properly just yet

set C8.8.8.22 in BIOS, it looks like CPuz problem.

more than 1,65V is possible.... thats a fact....
but are those voltages of 2,2V VDimm dangerous for the Board/CPU?
I have 4 DDR3 sticks.... but they need 2,2V for best clocks/timings.... is the vdimm supply absolutely seperated from the rest of the hardware?

from what i was told if you have the cooling to compensate for the volts you "should" be ok :)
loopy83
11-06-2008, 07:13 AM
CPU Cooling is LN2, RAM cooling is fresh air, filled with cold n2 fog :)
So it "should" be ok.... hope so :D
