Which OS should i use?

hi ppl, this is my PC:

evga GtX 260 c216 superclocked
C2D E8400
Asus Rampage Formula X48
2x2gb Gskill PI 1000mhz



i'm using an edited version of 32 bit Vista ultimate SP1. Which OS should i use? A 64 bits Vista version? will it be a noticeable upgrade? Which version is better for gaming?

XP x64 of x86.
With x64 about 1% of programs don't work. But you'll be able to use ~512 MB of your RAM more.

VU64 will do you fine as gamer, and will run great for general computing as well. Of the games that I play most: FC2, UT3, COD4, Bioshock and Tiberium Wars, all run well and for hours with no problems.

I love Vista Ultimate 64. Have never looked back to XP.
