Hi all,

I just reformatted my computer and have been recently getting boot issues.

Basically i turn on the computer as normal and at the windows loading screen with the logo and the green strobe and it just hangs (animation loops but it never loads into windows).

The only way to stop this is to reset the computer half way through and select the "starts windows normally" option when prompted.

What i've done:
Disk defragment
Disk Check
System Restore
Windows Startup repair (with setup disk)
updated all drivers
removed unused hardware from device manager
registry cleaners

What i own:
Windows Vista Home premium 32bit
rest in sig.

32bit only reconizes 3.25GB or RAM so that might fix it. just a idea

Yeah the 4GB worked for ages without any problems but was only detected as 3328mb or something.

I figured i'd give it a shot anyway but no such luck.

more suggestions guys?
