New 6 X 6 recording Interface from Auzen

Hey recording Gurus, We received information that Auzen will be offering a new firewire 6 X6 recording interface. Infrasonic and Jammate products have recently been added to the Auzentech product lineup. This new 6 X 6 module was shown at the Namm '08 music convention. Do we have any comments from the recording gurus?

Well, Firewire1 has 400mbps of bandwidth, and WAV files use a little over 1.5mbps, so at least they used a proper interface instead of some dumb usb stuff. Plenty of bandwidth available for the interface

Firewire can easily handle the load. I like the bus idea, so you can dasiy chain more then one unit together for more I/O....

Unless its Firewire 800, I am not finding convincing evidence that Firewire 400 is significantly faster than USB 2.0. At best you have about a 10MB/s advantage over USB on the PC - the Mac implementation seems to be much slower.
