Racing games similar to GRID

I played GRID on a friends computer and loved it. I'm a sucker for racing games and i found this to be an excellent one. So i just downloaded and installed the demo and tried to run it and my card doesn't support shader model 3 :( .

So long story short what other racing games do people suggest?

lol, did you read his post? His card doesnt support shader model 3.0 and wont run GRID. What makes you think he can run DIRT?

Buy a new graphics card ? Then you can play grid.

rFactor can work in directx 7, so I would have thought it would be alright on older cards. It's got pretty standard cars to start, but it's mainly a mod base for people to create their own cars/tracks.
