Built a rig for a fellow worker, only a occasional gamer. Put an Antec 550 Basiq+ modular in it because it was on sale cheap. Rig works great and passes OCCT but look at the 12v. When it idles it shows 3.71 ??? How can it even run ??? I've had oc's fail stress testing when the 12v was in the low 11v.

What's up ???

Here's the rest of the build:
8400@ 4.0
4850
Gigabyte 48
4Gb ddr3
300 case
320 hd

Clearly it's bug in the software.

All the software must have bugs

Can you check it with a multimeter just to be safe? If thats true I would RMA that PSU immediatelyc:down:

Check it with a voltmeter.

OK, I jumped the PSU and it reads 11.9v. I have never seen every software program be off like that before. Not just the two I posted but all of them. It must be the board sensor.

Thanks for reminding me what I should have done when I first saw it. :slap:

Yeah if it is anything like that it is a software sensor issue. DMM is the only real way to ever measure voltages. I'm still hunting for a vcore measure point on my IP35-E so I can get an accurate measurement.
