I have most of the parts here with the last few pieces on order from AC. I intend to wc the GPU (4870x2) and CPU (Q9650) on a single loop. Mebbe in the future if the BP chipset for the Rampage Extreme pans out I will add another loop. Parts I have so far: TFC 480 rad, 4 S Flex-F fans, an Eheim aquastream xt ultra USB pump and a DTek fusion V2 but I will sell this as I ordered a cuplex xt di.

I am about to order the tubing and now my dilemma. I am going to use an Eheim aquastream xt ultra and it has an unusual size output  . I am not sure 1/2" tubing will be right. I tried Martins flow estimater but my parts are not listed so I substitute and am not getting 1.5 gpm, might have to dbl up on the pump or use an Eheim 1250 I have in an aquarium parts bin. Another option is 7/16 x 5/8 with compression fittings but it is thin wall  or 7/16 x 11/16 and use barbs w/ herbie clamps. My choice is 3/8 x 5/8 and compresson fittings since I think it will mate better with the G1/8 output from the pump. Am I wrong coming to this conclusion.

I would go with 3/8"ID 1/2"OD tubing. I would get some compressions, either Feser, BP or Koolance fittings 3/8" ID 1/2OD. Since the AquaStream is a relatively lower flow pump there isn't much reason to go with larger tubing, and the 3/8"ID stuff looks clean.

Here are some adapters so you can easily use G1/4" with your pump.

Yes the 3/8 tubing seemed the logical choice with the parts I have. Is there a benefit using 3/8 x 1/2 thin wall tubing over say 3/8 x 5/8 w/ compression fittings.
