I'm getting shutdowns when I load games up. Didnt happen during Vegas 2, but did when I started GRAW 1. I have the Power Express 250 for VGA and an Antec SmartPower 500w. This thing did fine for half a year now, but I'm thinking its been overtaxed and one of the rails is on its way out. I dot get it though, reviews I read of this thing running two 7800gtx cards should mean that it would run a pair of 9600s just fine. Dont 78/79 series eat way more power than the die-shrunk 9600gt's? I tried running one of the cards on the main psu, but it does not work very well, shutdowns even more frequent. I guess the Antec is maxed, although it shouldnt be. I'm running 2 hd, 1 dvd, 2x2g ram@2.1, e8400@1.3v, 4 120s and a d5 pump. Looks like back to 1 card for a while, I guess.

The Antec has likely fried its capacitors - the Smartpower line is infamous for it. Replace, RMA, or recap is the only way to deal with it - it won't get better, only worse.

Got it on 05, probly not able to RMA. Gonna have to take it easy on it and get a good used one soon.
