I found these images on G3D posted by Wunderbar. Thought I'd let the gamers here at XS take a look.
What are your thoughts?

definitely something to look forward to...
Buying it on day of release. Whenever that is. I dont care. The first one was beyond words, the second was fairly crap and I found it hard to give a damn about the character or the choices but from what iv heard this one will be worth the wait.

My thoughts exactly
Never tried 2, but loved the 1st on ps2. Like the Blade Runner feel, hopefully be some co op.

Cut this Invisible War hate... It wasn't as good and DE1, but it still easily beats great majority or FPSes in terms of depth and plot.
I've read today that they axed med-kits in favour of reganerating hp, so health bar is probably gone >.< Such a little thing, and it still pisses me off. Thay've also said that combat will me more player-skill oriented instead being based of character skills, and that sounds very let's-make-it-easy-for-the-braindead too :/
But who cares for such details if graphics are so good, rite?!!
PS. Could anyone scan this article? Getting this mag in Poland is kind of impossible...

Looks like another winner, we can only hope for a non-rushed release with fewer bugs.

Looks good. I hope the story is deep, and the gameplay intense.

My apologies, yaddam, for breaking a forum rule. I had not realised

Deus Ex 2 was good, but the first one was a triumphant moment in PC gaming history. The Deus Ex and Thief days were the pinnacle of PC gaming for me, and probably the industry.

No problem, it's one you never really think about.

IMO Deus Ex effectively retooled an entire genre, melding FPS and RPG seamlessly like never before, and unfortunately, never again as yet.

Those mag scans have got me all excited now. I was never a huge Deus Ex fan (picks up flame suit) but I do love seeing new worlds come to life through games. This new Deus Ex world is just the kind of refreshing thing I was hoping for. It does have a certain similarity to the Bioshock concept though.

Ditto that, also SS and SS2.
I was just reading about Dues Ex 3 on another forum and the only potential downside I can see so far is that it will be dual ported to Console and PC ... However, recent quality ports have not suffered too much ... Thief 3, Oblivion, Bioshock ... whilst I'd prefer DX3 would be a pure PC game like the original was, and take full advantage of the power of a modern PC and all its other benefits ... I recognise those days are pretty much gone.
All I ask is that they do the original game justice.

The pictures I was looking at got me all giddy.
"What's more, stealth will now rely on a cover system rather than shadows, and damage will be dealt with by a very Call of Duty-style auto-heal. There's probably going to be some debate over those two" I really hope that's going to be a good thing not bad but time will tell.
"Augmentations have been bumped up and sound fantastic. 20 have been promised for the final game, ranging from 'bungee jump' tentacles that shoot from your back and anchor to a wall when you jump off a building, and the ability to punch through walls to grab enemies in neighboring rooms."
I hope for the best I really enjoyed the first one and the second one was OK.
I miss cyberpunk

Well the Deus Ex2s ammo systems sucked ***...
WTF rpg, sniper and pistol uses same ammo?
That was the only big bug but the rest of game was pretty good.
Deus Ex 1 is still at 1st place in my Top10 list ^^

Nothing will be as good and as innovative as the first game. Deus Ex 2 was a total piece of junk in comparison with its predecessor. But we could hope deus ex 3 would be enjoyable :)
