Anyone recommend a PSU which will run 24xSATA drives, I've looked at the Enermax Galaxy 1000W which seems to do the trick.

Do I need to spend that much considering the graphics are onboard so the only power requirements will be the Mobo, CPU and 24 Hard Drives.

I have a fair few molex splitters on my current setup with a 550w PSU so I can use those to multiply a smaller PSU up to that many drives.

will u could quite possibly get away with 750W, imo, dont risk it :) - go the 'whole hog' :D - get a 1KW PSU :D

Those 24 HDDs are going to pull around 20A from the 5V rail and around 15A from 12V. It is therefore unnecessary to buy a kilowatt PSU - a good 700W unit will be completely sufficient. A good PSU for your setup should have around 30A available on 5V rail, independent voltage regulation and preferably a single 12V rail so you don't trip some OCP limitations. I'd go for Corsair TX750 (and use molex splitters) but the Galaxy you've mentioned should be OK, too - both 1kW and 850W variants
