If you do the mail in rebate its 40$ for 4gb...... of XMS. pretty sweet deal i think. Any idea about how good this ram is? I mean i know its XMS and all, but isn't there different kinds of chips used that determine performance? is this going to perform like standard ram with a heatsink slapped on? Thanks :D

its ether qibmonda, elpedia or powerchips, its not a 100% powerchips so im not sure if u want it if u are going to oc, if u take into account the potential return cost then evaluate it

It's going to perform at the rated speeds but headroom for OC'ing? I doubt that it may have some and if it does? It'd be very minimal.
It's a sweet deal for $40 though, no doubt about that but "IF" you're going to put that on your main rig? Go with G.Skill IMO.
If it's for grandma's rig? Well, it's a sweet deal.
I lost all my faith in Corsair, because if you want their V1.1 stuff? You'll end up paying a premium and being that they carry the "name"? You'll pay a little extra for it............so therefore G.Skill for me ALL the way, even if it's for either grandma's or my main rigs.....
G.Skill baby!
