Right, quick question. Anyone see anything wrong with these voltages (according to speedfan)?

Vcore1: 1.4V
Vcore2: 0.00V
+3.3V: 3.28
+5V: 4.87V
+12V: 12.16V
-12V: -1.91V
-5V: -8.78
+5V: 5.03
Vbat: 3.06

Anyone think something is wrong?

I think its ok. Most mobos dont use -12v and -5v nowadays and you end up getting bogus readings. And software readings are known to be inaccurate.

The only reason I ask is because ever since i've had this rig i've had a crazy random power-off issue. Basically, the machine will lose power in an instant at random times, playing games or just browsing internet or listening to music.

The parts in this rig have changed from;

DFI LanParty SLI-DR Expert > ASUS A8N32 SLI-Deluxe
2x1Gb Crucial Ballistix > 2x1Gb Corsair
530W Tagan PSU > 700W OCZ GameXstream
Sony DVD-RW IDE > Writemaster DVD-RAM SATA

Basically the only parts to remain the same since ive owned this thing are the CPU, XFi Sound Card, two HDDs and the case. Yet the problem remains. It's not enough of a problem to really anger me, as it happens so sporadically. I can go three or four weeks without it happening and other times it'll do it twice in a night.

Ive been in two separate houses so it's not the power. I'm planning to build a new system soon but i really want to know what's causing this before I do. It would really satisfy my curiosity.

Don't trust what any software utility says, buy a cheap digital multimeter and measure yourself.

So out of the hardware that has remained with me since this problem has been present;

CPU
Sound Card
HDDs
Fans + Y connectors

Could any of these cause the power outages im describing?
