I have a Gigabyte P35 DS3 and a E2160 CPU,for more than half a year the CPU was running @ ~3.1GHz (FSB 350) but today I saw that games and other apps were running slower and that the CPU was @ default,I got into the BIOS screen and the settings were the same as always however when I entered windows it was all @ defaul (1200Mhz energy saving and 1800Mhz full load) tried other setting but the freq remained the same in the posting screen and windows, instaled the latest BIOS and still the same.
Any input please?

This is not the first time I've seen this happen with the GIGABYTE boards, I don't know what the outcome was on those others I saw but......sounds to me like either faulty board or BIOS corrupt, since that they have two sets I believe.

My P5B-Deluxe isn't issue free either, I can't install AISuite so I can't see the Vc or Vdimm or the other goodies that showed me, so I have to use 3rd party software programs......

Anyhow, time to RMA the board maybe? Or reinstall BIOS?

RMA isn't that easy in my country,I can't say that I need a new one because this runs @ stock settings :(
I will try reinstalling the BIOS,funny how the Easytune utility has the OC options greyed now...
Either way 10x.
