mx-2 results on q660 GO

well i have the artic 7 cooler and its the push pin clips =(. i had as5 on there and my temps were 44 idle dont know what load were, after putting on mx-2 my tmeps dropped 6 c to 38 idle. i have q 6600 oced to 3.45 at 1.28 volts. im really happy about my temps preety damn good if you ask me. oo btw i applied the mx-2 in a x formation going 3/4 across the heatsink in each direction.


oo btw to monitor the temps i used core temp 0.95.4 vistax64

single, thin line accross the middle of the ihs about as long as the text.
38C idle is pretty bad, especially at 1.28v

My new Core 2 Quad at 350x9 is pretty good with temps.......

Except I'm using a Tuniq Tower 120

I'm yet to play with the Vc, right now it's at AUTO. I just got it so I'll be playign with it when I have a chance, 'cause I know I'll be dealing with a lot of failures and have to reset CMOS and wit this huge GTX card in the way? It ain't easy.

Then again, I ran my E6600 at AUTO showing the same Vc for two years and never had an issue.......ahhhhrrr!~

well it was to much but it lowered my temps 6c, and that cooler i have isnt the best for tha proc either.

i have my voltage set at auto also and i think i read it right i might be wrong but i thought it was at 1.28 ill look at it again. im going to do multiple seats with that cooler but i was in a hurry this morning so i did it really quick
