So when I log into the XFX website, there's a notation that XFX recommends using the P08 BIOS for the 680i LT boards.

I just got a new board from XFX under a warranty replacement. I've updated it to the P07 BIOS as it's the only one listed on the website.

Any ideas as to where this P08 BIOS can be found? It appears EVGA also has a P08 BIOS for their 680i LT board. But I'm not about to risk using theirs.

Thanks in advance. :)

The P08 for the LT is on our site. It should be right above the P07 in the downloads. The direct link is here: http://www.xfxsupport.com/download/download.asp?supid=228.

If you have any problems with it, let me know.

Everything except the 45nm quads. I can't think of anything that has launched recently that isn't supported.

So I visited the XFX website again tonight. Was curious if there had ever been a newer BIOS update. I noticed they still had the P08... HOWEVER, the P08 I had downloaded in the past was called P08A.BIN while the new one is called 721N9P08.BIN

Is there any difference?

Where did you find the XFX BIOS files Jerreece? I went thru the hassle of registering, they've evidently ignored my trouble ticket, and when I check the files for my XFX 680i LT I only see GUIDES/DRIVERS/UTILITIES/MANUAL. Under none of these do they have a BIOS download, & when I filter the search for 'bios' I get "NO RESULTS FOUND."

I just bought this board a few months back and was on track to build two more before Christmas...I'm really re-thinking this manufacturer at this point.

Can you share the BIOS link?

Thanks!!
