how much mx-2 should i use on my q6600? uncooked rice size or what?

err, imo not even a rice grain.
use as little as possible and mount as hard as you can
just make sure your backplate isn't pinching any resistors or anything.

well i have the artic 7 cooler and its the push pin clips =(. i had as5 on there and my temps were 44 idle dont know what load were, after putting on mx-2 my tmeps dropped 6 c to 38 idle. i have q 6600 oced to 3.45 at 1.38 volts. im really happy about my temps preety damn good if you ask me
