No boot device after SP2?

Hey, I encountered this problem recently, I installed a new hard drive in a friend's computer and used her original OS disc (it's a dell) to install the OS on it. Problem is, I can update absolutely everything in windows update except update to SP2. After SP2 is up, when you restart the computer, it says no boot devices found.

Tried it twice, it's definitely after SP2.

Try using nLite to slipstream SP2 into her disc, then burn a new copy. Perhaps it's something with the update process rather than the service pack itself.
