Both have the ampage I need (+3.3@24A,+5V@24A,+12V1@18A,+12V2@18A,+12V3@18A,-12V@0.8A,+5VSB@3A)
For $55 less, the 520W should be enough, but I don't want to undercut myself.
System:
evga 750i
e8400
2x 9800GT SLI
2x 2GB Corsair 800
2x Seagate 7200.11 640GB
LG DVD+R burner
NZXT SEN-001LX fan controller
all in a antec 1200, so plenty of fans.
Thoughts?

I have the 520 and it's never faultered. Although on another forum I got told it's 'piece of crap' PSU!! I was most offended! lol

a hx520 would be fine.. but if you ever swap out those video cards for higher power consumption ones, you'll need/want more... 9800gt's are low on the power consumption scale compared to other high end cards.
I have a hx 520 and ran a 3.6ghz Q6600, oc'd 2900 (a horrible power hog), 4gb ram, 2 hd's, and 5 120 fans... just fine...

Okay I've established that my current system only needs a little over 380w. However, as scubar said the 620 will last longer into the future...
I guess I'll get the 620, I'm hoping that it'll last me a few builds — maybe a few years. Better to get this now and have it last then have to replace it later.
Thanks for the insight!

http://www.xtremesystems.org/Forums/showthread.php?t=202535 might want to go ALL the way... can't be much more than you're spending on the HX620. Hope I'm not too late.
