Currently in the middle of an upgrade to my second PC and I'm a little unsure on which PSU to choose or what wattage the PSU should be. I've narrowed down my options to the following so far:

PC Power&Cooling 750w Silencer

Corsair TX750

Gigabyte ODIN 800w

Corsair HX1000

Zalman HP850 or HP1000

Now what I need to power are the 2 overclocked GTX260's, a Q6700 overclocked to around 3.5ghz, 2 hard drives, 7 fans and a Swiftech MCP655. What I'd really like to know is will the 750w PSU's be sufficient and allow a bit of room for future upgrades?

Thanks

Any of them is more than enough. So I'd choose the corsair 750, because its quiet (unlike the "silencer") and its one of the cheapest high wattage units.

Thanks for the reply, the TX750 was what I looked at first since it's a fair bit cheaper than the 1kw units but then I started having a few doubts about how much power I really needed.

Np man. According to VRzone an system with QX9650 and gtx280 SLI peak draw is 508W. Therefore you'll have alot of headroom left.
