I have setup an Asus P5Q Deluxe with the following specs
Corsair HX-1000 PSU
Sapphire 4870x2 video
intel q9550 processor
Thermalright TRUE black 120
2 x 2GB corsair dominator 8500-C5DF
WD 640 GB HDD
Auentech X-plosion 7.1 cinema sound
64-bit vista ultimate
My problem is:
I can seem to boot the express gate, and get into the bios, but only for a short time as the video card will seem to speed up and become loud, then the video cuts out. I can turn it off and repeat this process but the same problem occurs. All power is connected, the 3 red LED's flash on the card at startup then disappear. Does anybody have any suggestions as i am severely frustrated at this. I have tried different PCI-e slots, one stick of ram, reseated the card multiple times. Any help is greatly appreciated as i am out of ideas. Thanks.
