Do you play Gothic 3 and own a ATI 4 Series card?

If you do, can you post your experiences with it, many are reporting bad texture issues with any 4 series cards, i am doing some extensive testing over at:

and all input would be appreciated.

Or if you have a 4 series card and would be able to try Gothic 3, again it would be appreciated.

Yes I do, and yes I'm getting crazy issues and random slowdowns. I tried a Google some time back, but couldn't find anything on the issue.

Cat 8.10 RC2 is supposed to fix the texture / flashing issue :)

Been avoiding installing Beta drivers, but I'll try them if it'll solve the issue.

dido, i havent tried them out yet but sometime this week if i get a chance, i like Gothic 3, and havent had any problems with ATI beta's "yet" knock on some dam fine expensive wood!

Supposedly the 8.10 Catalyst Drivers are a huge improvement over 8.9. Definitely going to try them later tonight.

i havent tried them yet but plan to format tonight or tomorrow and toss in the 8.10 now that they are official, draw distance on something things is apparently still messed up, but i can deal with that!

Oh, I need to replay this game and try to finish it this time. I'll give it try when I next get time and let you know. Its a great game, but the combat is sooo bad it ruins everything else.
