I would like to test my psu under load (motherboard attached). I have a PSU tester from frozencpu (http://www.frozencpu.com/products/4081/psu-208/FrozenCPU_ATX_20_Ultimate_LCD_Power_Supply_Tester_ 2024_pin_ATX_SATA_P4_Xeon_PCI-E_Floppy_4_pin.html) and a 24 pin ATX Y splitter. The tester will automatically turn on the PSU. I don't see any pitfalls but I don't want to burn anything out.
Anyone tried this or see any problems.

Dont belive that is a good thing m8!
testing a PSU is very complex unless you just use a evil overclocked computer!

All it does is test the voltages if they are in line with ATX spec. It doesn't do any load testing.

Well, the point is that the mobo IS the load, the tester will verify the various voltages under load.
I am concerned with something like the "power good" signal going back to two devices (the tester and the mobo).

most volt testers are inaccurate and are not recommend for accurate testing of a power supply, for that it's best to use a custom built load tester.
