won't detect my hard drive after format?

i have two hard drives in RAID 0, using Intel RAID MATRIX... i also have a additional hard drive which i installed recently for storage space. now i decided to do a format of windows after i was having issues loading windows SP3.. now that i have my windows on my Raid 0 hard drives.. my computer doesn't detect my extra storage hard drive anymore? i check in "computer management" under Disk management, and the disk doesn't even show up? its as if the hard drive isn't even connected? any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

never mind i jumped the gun..... i forgot that i had a old windows XP cd, and it only had SP1 on it.... now that SP2 is installed it finds the hard drive...
