Just to name a few,
Embraco Aspera - NEK 2134, Danfoss NF11FX, NF10FX.
Just take a look at the builds around the Phase Change forums at XS. The question is also a bit 'broad'. Are you interested in SS, Cascade, etc.

i used / am using hermetic compressors. reciprocating and rotary from l'unité hermetique, danfoss, aspera, teco, mitsubishi, hitachi, dwm copeland, maneurop and a few others. (5000-45000btu/h)

i am just going to start off with just ss's but if i get asked to do a cascade then i would do that as well
and yes i know that this is not the best topic but i just need to know before i spend the cash

I was not in any way saying it's bad topic. I was merely hoping you'd post back with some more specifics, so people could lend you a better hand with your project. :) Which you did =)

everything... as always lol. there are a couple nf7fx's in bad condition at a ok not great price on ebay which is good enough... i wanr you you shouldn't order more then 1 at a time because he is a terrible packer and shipping is free and he doesn't give you discount in shipping on multiple orders....
cheers
Embarco/Aspera NEK 2150 GK, best compressor for powerful singlestages!
I build four singlestages with them and i'm very happy with them.

My build has a Danfoss NL11F which can hold my 250W Q6600. Don't expect great load temps tho, but it's the quietest choice in the 1/3hp class.

jcool- you are one of those lucky german people who have those 220v compressors at ~ $150 us... over here thats what they rn for a nf11fx... but only if you buy a pallet of, im not sure if its ~ 40 compressors or more like 80 but just way to much at that price....
