Aloha guys !

As it seems, tomorrow is the official paper launch of the new mid range vga from ATi aka 4670 512mb gddr3.
As far as i have heard, the card will be in limited qtys in stores from Friday but till the end of September almost all the brands will have availability.
The MSRP will be around 69€ in EU.
As many of you already know , the core will be clocked at 750MHz and the GDDR at 2000MHz and again the simple version of those cards will use single slot cooler(i hope this time will be better than 4850 in terms of keeping the core cool enough )

Almost all the text that it is in the link i soft translated it.

Here are 2 pics

Hmm, it seems that the board is reference design, but it's in Sapphire's blue and with different, distinctive HSF of its own.

someone refresh me - how 'wide' is the mem interface again? 256-bit?

Compared to what? It already beats the 3850 and most if not all of the time. And spanks the 9500Gt wich is it's supposed competition. Remember this is a replacement for the 3650.

GDDR5 will boost this to 8800GT performance. RV740, the successor to this and most likely the Radeon "5600" instead, should use it, and have 480SPs instead.

With hypothetical GDDR5 only on the current 4670, ATI will offer the same performance on half the die size.

why would you place hard-to-find GDDR4, or expensive GDDR5 on a card that's allready trashing direct price vise competitor - 9500GT GDDR3, and in majority of test surpass much expensive 9600 GSO?
