Help With animated GIF file

I have an animated GIF file I want to make a change to and then save it and it still move. Can anyone help me out here?

It is a lengthy process but here you go.

Open up the GIF in say Flash, then set it up frame by frame at the right fps, and then copy the frames you want to change into your photo editing program.

Then simply copy the file back to Flash, and export it as a gif:)

Gimp has an animation add-on but I haven't played with it yet.

Ulead gif animator is what I used with agifs but that's rather long back so idk what to do now. But like suggested you can always export each frame as a picture and edit that, and there are plenty programs which will take a string of bmp's to make a animated gif.
