im planning on getting 2700 ram with a braton 2500+ with an ultra400 chipset. im planning on OCing the procs fsb up to 200(double pumped to 400) which would be 3200 memory but should i just get the 2700 and OC that with the ram?

yes and itd be better to just go with the 3200 since the 2700 probably wont oc that high unless its mushkin or something.

Try to hunt down some 3000. It's been able to do some amazing stuff (HyperX, particularly).

i know where i can get some 3000 but i want to decide between the 2 thanks anways i think about it

The 3200 should last you longer unless you get a golden stick like my Kingston Value that I have.:D
You'll be able to do better timings with the 3200 anyway and once you get the bus up to 200...you'll want to keep going...trust me.:D

Well, in that case I'd definately recommend 3200. It's a few bucks more expensive, and can usually perform much much better. And trust me, you WILL want to go further than 200. :D

Hehe, who else is here from Sharkys besides you, Royal Oaks, and myself?
3200 doesn't cost much more than 3200 anyway.:)
