i just got a phenom 9850, biostar 790gx and 9800gt powered by antec bp550 plus 550w psu...

i had it running 2.8-3.0 on stock everything just bumping multi up, but any higher and it would reboot during windows loading. i set the multi to 16 for 3.2 with 1.4vcore and it went into windows and about 5 minutes into prime flashed a quick blue screen and restarted so i bumped vcore to 1.43 and this time it primed for about 10 minutes and same thing, quick blue screen and it reboots. so i bump vcore to 1.47 and it primes for awhile, temps never over 61c and about 20 minutes in the pc just shuts off with no sounds or smoke or anything, and now will not turn on at all... i tried resetting cmos, popped battery out, etc. and get nothing when i try to power it on.

you guys think this sounds like mobo, cpu, psu?? i cant imagine <1.5vcore fried the mobo or cpu but i also cant imagine it would be too much for this psu w/ 69A on 12v alone - im thinkin about tryin the neopower 650w

I would say the mobo crapped itself. Doesn't sound like a psu based problem.

How are the Mosfetts? try out another power supply and see what happens, or try that certain power supply on another rig if you have one. Basic troubleshooting
